What this policy covers
CloseRadar runs an AI Operations Audit for accounting and bookkeeping firms. This policy explains what we collect when you use closeradar.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to reach us. We keep this short on purpose. If something is missing or unclear, email us at info@closeradar.com and we will fix it.
What we collect
- Your firm information. Your name, email, firm name, firm URL, and the answers you provide in our audit forms (free audit and Pro Audit questionnaire).
- Operational data we generate for you. The reports we produce, the recommendations, the configurations, and any files we create as part of delivering the audit.
- Email engagement. Our transactional emails include a pixel so we can see whether the report email reached you and was opened. We do not run third-party web analytics or ad trackers on the site.
- Payment information. For the Pro Audit we use Stripe. We do not see or store your card number — Stripe handles that. We see the receipt and your email.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or analyze your clients’data. The recommendations in our audits describe systems that read and write to your own infrastructure through APIs. We do not need access to your client tax records, QBO files, bank statements, or any client PII to produce the audit. The audit is produced from the answers you give us and what is publicly visible on your firm’s website.
How we use what we collect
- To produce and send you the audit you requested.
- To follow up with you about your audit (a short series of emails).
- To improve the audit product based on what works.
- To respond when you email us.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your firm name or audit content for marketing without your written consent.
Who we share with
We share with a small set of vendors that make the product work:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- OpenRouter / Anthropic — large language model API used to write the audit.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Stripe — payment processing for the Pro Audit.
- n8n — workflow automation used to orchestrate the audit pipeline.
Each of these processes data on our behalf under their standard terms. We do not share your information with anyone outside this list without your consent or unless required by law.
How long we keep your data
We keep your audit and account information for as long as the account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we delete the audit content from our database within 30 days and from our backups within 90. Transactional records (payments, tax-required receipts) are retained for as long as legally required.
Your rights
You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@closeradar.com and we will reply within 7 days.
